With the pain phenotype towards an effective therapy

A Europain study with participation of the DFNS center in Bochum shows, that the effect of oxcarbazepine in peripheral neuropathic pain correlates with the pain phenotype – and indicates for the first time in a prospective study, that the concept of a mechanism-based idea works for the therapy.
